Just received the new Koralia powerheads.  I put two in my 29 and thet seem pretty cool.  Much smaller and work great.  The new suction cups seem to work well without the magnet although I have the magnet on still.  Hopefully they are better than the old, and so far they seem to be.  I am interested to see how they do on a controller since that seems to be one of the major new fixes.  Just thought I would share with everyone.

That is great to hear. I hope that they are better quality than the originals, though they were good for their price point. I am glad that they are continuing to improve and make new products. This will keep them in the market for a very long time. I like the looks of them for sure. Looks like they even bumped up the flow to 1400 on the "koralia 4" size.

Are they supposed to be able to wave controllable?

I just got in a couple and I must say I am impressed. They have a new shaftless impeller and use half the wattage of the older models. They also have better startup and can be run with a wavemaker or controller with better results. They also have a better range of motion on the ball and socket joint than the previous models.

Yeah they have different impellers on them that make it so they are controllable.  Pretty sweet.
