So, I have to laugh at my clowns......

I have had a BTA in the tank for about 4 months now, and I keep getting told just wait, the clowns will host, they always host, that's their favorite anemone...etc...I think I've seen one touch the anemone once, and it was probably on accident.  They don't even go near it.

So, I recently got a couple of small frags, and to keep them from getting lost in the sand (until I get some good glue) I have them in a butter tub (with my sun coral, which is trying hard to die).  The funny thing is that the clowns spend loads of time in the butter tub, shakin' around swimming, having all sorts of fun.

If I'd have known that's all it took, I really wouldn't have spend money on the BTA, and used an old butter tub from the beginning.....hah!

You would be suprised what a clown will host in, especially clowns not from the wild. It's possible that the clowns you have are tank raised and don't know to trust the BTA.
