how does ozone affect ph? or does it, I tried to do a search but I get a error about the search being less than 3 characters?


not sure if I should mix this but here goes,

how often should I add Kalk? or how often is to often, I have a ro line directly to a kent float valve for water topoff, and I am dripping kalk at night.

Right now I am adding Kalk about every three days, to stay near 9 dkH and 400 ca or should I raise the alk/or/ca more? and continue with the kalk?

ozone doesn't effect pH, but pH does effect ORP.
 
You're fine on your calcium and alk levels, imo.  I would continue to use kalk if I were you.  As your tank's demand increases you'll need to add more and more eventually reaching a point where you're adding all your make-up water as kalk and still not keeping up.  When that happens you need additional sources such as a calcium reactor, b-ionic or separate calcium/alk additives to make up the difference.

now I knew that ph affected ORP(from the pools) the pool can vary quite a bit in ph though, (6.8 - 7.8 on a bad day) But I had wondered about maybe the ozone doing something different in salt water,(vs. fresh water)
