Topic: When is the next mtg? Posted: December 15 2003 at 8:42am |
The links from the homepage say nothing about the day or date of the next meeting. Are we to assume that it is on the "usual" first Thursday? Help needed, Coral donations, etc.

Thanks Mark, didn't notice that.
The meeting is on January 9th, which is a Friday. I didn't have Jake posts actualy days on the website, becuase not all of the dates are set (working with guest speakers still). I'll be sending out emails, but rest assured, January is for Friday the ninth. As for coral donations and help, I guess we wouldn't turn it down. Does anyone have something they want to donate?
The rest of the meeting is under control and taken care of.
Thanks
Adam

Coral Cutting Seminar. Lots more educational talk, less coral cutting. That about sums it up.

I'd love to volunteer my time, and some colt coral if needed. I'll be sure to bring some cash in exchange for some good frags for my tank too.

BTW, have I told you lately how cute you are? You are easily the cutest president we've ever had! (I know I said that when Mark and Joe were Mr Big, but I was just kidding...)

My selfish question is... Last coral cutting I wasn't in need of any cuttings so I just wondered around shooting the preverbial bull. But I did notice that the turnout was so big that all the cutting were gone very fast with I'm sure some people going home without. This upcoming meeting I'll be wanting to do more buying and less talking, so is anything going to be done differently this time? Or will it be another "mad dash"?

I am going to make a suggestion that is popular to many of the other MAS clubs. IOW, not my idea. For our coral cutting seminars and other appropriate meetings, I feel that we need to allow our members to have the first crack at the cuttings and our guests may partake after.
