i have had this yellow tang for about 3 or 4 months and has been doing pretty good.  this morning i noticed a bubble in his eye and it looked like maybe he had clipped his eye against a rock or something because the outer membrain was torn.  does that heal?  i also had a pink goby die on me last night, i don't know what happend, the water quality is great!  i was by the fish tank and i heard a fish jump out of the water and when i looked over, i just watched the goby slowly fall down and take his last few breaths.  i checked for temperature of the water and it was great, 77 degrees.  i am thinking maybe it jumped out and broke something because i think it might have hit the light i have a little above it.  any ideas?  for both the tang and the goby?

What I mean is the fish posibly jumped to get away from an aggressive fish. I don't know about the tang. I would say that if the conditions in the tank are good and the fish is otherwise healthy then it will heal. Maybe the tang hit the light while in hot pursuit of the goby.
