Topic: Most Disgusting thing.... Posted: December 16 2006 at 5:55pm |
..I ever did for my fish?
I bought a box of squid from the meat counter. Ok, that part didn't suck too bad. It was cheap. $7 bucks= 4 lbs!
But, when I opened the box? It still has it's eyeballs! I almost hurled!
I was able to separate it into a few bags, but I had to bribe Rob to cut it up for me.
Now, I have to stick my hand in the bag to feed it to Ooday and Sonic.......
Geez, i hope these fish know how much I love them!

Oh great Suzy described the most disgusting thing she has ever done and pretty much summed up what I used to do for a living.

I use to smell like fish every day, as I chopped up seafood to feed to my tanks and animals. For those who don't know: dissecting fish = stinky job.

The squid I got wasn't stinky, though. It was still frozen. It just looked really gross. It has eyeballs!
But, my big fish love it, and from what I've read, it is good for them.
I might even try to get Rob to cut it up smaller for my smaller fish? I just can not see me putting those eyeballs in a blender.....
