Is it just my lionfish or are they all stupid?

Mine likes to follow reflections in the glass rather than the food in the tank behind it.  Also, I feed it with a feeding stick and it attacks the stick where the food isn't rather than the food itself.  Now that I've taught it that the stick has food on it, the Lionfish won't eat anything that is not on the stick.

I'm just wondering if this is common or if I just got the cream of the crop.

Will, in my mind, you are the cream of the crop and that Lionfish is from the bottom of the barrell. Wink
