If I may be so bold to suggest a new tab on the left called "LINKS", with links to usefull web site's, not for lfs or other forms, but to pages that will inform and help with diy projects or suppliers of parts like Lowe's, Home depot. some that I have found are as follows. but I am sure you all have a favorite link so please share.

Dave (and/or Holly),

Thanks so much for the recommendation. I will review it with the presidency and get back to you!

Thanks,

We used to have such a button on the left.  Unfortunately the list got VERY large and it was a constant battle to remove broken links and update the list.  Every person that had a web site felt it was important enough to have a link on our website.  I soon became quicker to do a goggle search then to look through the links list.  This was many years ago.  Maybe it is time to bring the link section back.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks for the replies, I guess that could bee a very long list, and would need to be maintained so as to not duplicate current listings, and be able to report dead links, so it would seem to be up to your webmaster if he or she  is willing, or even has the time to take something like this on, that plate probably already looks like the first pass at thanksgiving dinner.

The only helpful links I'd like to see are DIY related.  Local information would be cool too.

Specifically, where to get ballasts, sockets, bulbs, reflected aluminum, acrylic, adhesive solvents, and the like.

Dave and/or Holly,

Thank you for the suggestion to add a helpful links section to the website.

We have discussed the idea many times and in fact, our website did include just such a section at one time. However, with the ability to so easily search the internet for specific topics, we don't feel that such a section is now warranted. We joked about posting a link directly to "Google" under a useful links topic header.

Interestingly, several of the Google searches I've done recently lead me right back to WMAS message board threads!

Another alternative is to start a thread (as you've done) and include useful sites. You can add to your list, and keep them available on our message board for future reference.

Thanks again for your suggestion! Keep them coming.
