I just noticed that one of my tangs has a fat belly (like he/she ate a mouse) and is having a hard time swimming. Has anyone seen this before? The other two tangs (yellow and purple) are leaving him/her alone right now but he/she does not look good.

That's a new one for me. If you don't get any responses here, you might try Reef Central. That doesn't sound good. I hope your fish comes out of it alright.

Originally I thought an obstructed bowel but the tang is eating and eliminating without issue. Just has a fat belly like it ate a big marble or something and seems much less graceful. I guess we'll see what developes over the next few days.

Is it's stomach really as big as if it ate a mouse??? I've never seen anything like that but I'd love to see a picture if you can post one.

Could it be a parasite?

It would have been a small mouse but yeah it was pretty obvious.

Well the swelling has gone down and the fish seems fine as far as eating and going to the bathroom. One thing that persists is that it swims like it's has lead in its tail. If it's moving quickly it looks normal but if it stops and tries to "hover" its tail dropps down and its front fins thrash to keep it up. I think Mike may be correct in his first assumption that something has happened to its swim bladder.

Well, a yellow tang can not live without its swim bladder. He/she lasted about a week but appeared to be burning so many calories trying to stay off of the substrate that it lost weight until it died.
