Right now we have the " Buy - Sell - Trade - NON-COMMERCIAL POSTS ONLY" forum.
I would like to see it split into two forums:
a "Want to Buy NON-COMMERCIAL" forum and
a "Want to Sell or Trade NON-COMMERCIAL" forum.
Our existing forum is very active, which is good. But, all in one place is sometimes too much. Splitting the forum like this, might make it easier to find what you want AND to sell what you don't want.

The only downside to the split is that sometimes people are looking to buy something and find that they have what someone else is looking for.
There are a lot of members that aren't actively selling stuff, but if they see that someone is looking for it...
But I agree that it would be nice to just be able to look at what is for sale as sometime people don't add that to front. I've clicked on a bunch of posts that have what I am looking for but when I open it up it just says "looking for one"

I disagree with the split. I think we have plenty of forums and having the WTB in with the WTS gives the WTS more exposure IMHO.

I don't think the # of WTB posts is significant enough to make the change. I prefer it as it is now.

To be honest, I no longer read our For Sale forum so can't really comment on whether or not it should be split. But the "for sale" forum on one of the other message boards I frequent (different hobby) has different icons for "For Sale" posts and "Want To Buy" so it's very easy to distinguish between the two. And what I like even better then that is the messages can be automatically sorted by original post date, not last post date. It makes it real nice in a busy forum to just drop in every day or two and see everything "new" for sale and not have to wade through all the people asking questions about yesterdays items or someone "bumping" their own post.
