okay first i am new to corals and inverts
A few weeks back i bought 2 mushrooms (?) from a fellow member, i forgot what he called them but they are flat, purple and have little tenicle with green tips. anyway i bought two of them and for the first 2 weeks they both did really well, now one is dying i think, it no longer expands during the day and it has a very litle purple stringy substance coming from its mouth. I was wondering if anyone 1) knows what mushroom this is and 2) can tell me what to do to save it
The other one i bought is doing great and has doubled in size in the short time i have owned it. I tested the water and my nitrates are a little high 10ppm, everything else is zero. I will post a picture when i get home, but i am worried about my new little friend
