Yesterday i noticed a little centiped looking guy on one of my rocks, it was darker in color and no longer than a cenitimeter, was about the size of a peice of lead from a mechanical pencil.  Anyone have a clue what this could be, i tried getting a pic of it but even after enlarging the image you cant see it clear enough.  Any idea what it could be?  bad? or dont worry about it?

Did it look like this:  http://bp1.blogger.com/_zG6tlZu2Cks/SAXiLd_Nd3I/AAAAAAAAAjM/d_Oijg5G8VI/s1600-h/bristle+worm.JPG ?  If so, it is bristle worm, and there are mixed feeling on it.  In general it is a good thing and helps keep your tank clean.  It is just painful if you touch it.

No it was much smaller than a brittle worm, looked like an underwater centiped almost it was extreamely small litterally no biger then a peice of lead from a mechanical pencil, it was almost black, looked like it had a hard shell on its back, like cenipeds do

99.9% of the stuff we get in our tanks is good.
There are around 10,000 species of worms.
This is a big part of the enjoyment of the reef hobby.
