The pictures on this forum are really hard to look at. The way you have to scroll all the way to the bottom and move the slider bar to see the picture makes viewing photo to much work. Is there a way to eliminate this? It would make veiwing photos much more enjoyable. Just a suggestion. All in all I love the site and everything else about it! Thank you to all of those who work so hard to keep the site up and running.

The key is to load smaller photos when posting. Or when posting click and drag the picture frame to make it smaller.
Mike asked people about this recently, check out this cool post

Unfortunately the reader has very little control over how large the poster of the picture made it. The only way for you to fix this as the reader is to get a bigger monitor with a higher resolution screen. A rather pricey fix I agree. Otherwise we just need to educate people more on the picture size so they understand the limitation of those without wide screens etc. on their PC's.

We are limited on the size of our avitar. Why not limit the size of uploadable photos? Or make them clickable links?

The presidency discussed this last night. We think this has been addressed as well as we can http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=30025
The ideal situation would be for everyone to load their photos to this website as shown here http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=7918
Since that doesn't always happen we recommend people load photos from other sites at 800 pixels wide. Hopefully if everyone does that we'll be fine.
Thanks
