So I purchased some Hydrophora from Tyler (tamortman- who has one of the most amazing setups I have EVER seen) and have a few questions about it.  I have been reading up on it, and I find some people who say that it is VERY aggressive and some who say not to worry about it.  I have it up towards the top of the tank for best lighting, but do these "require" halides?  Also, how far can these sweeper tenticles reach, and will they harm any fish or inverts?

Please share with my your experience with these beautiful corals...

If you mean Hydnophora then they like high light, high flow and I have had them sting SPS 2-3" away from them and they do sting hard. I would not put any LPS or SPS near them.
