I have some green zoanthids growing on the side of a lobophylia. Are those going to sting the lobo or damage it?

I tried killing them before, I took a razor and dug them out. Now they're back..... if they don't do any harm then I'll just leave them. If not, what can i do to kill them without hurting the lobo.

inject them with a little bit of vinegar. Should kill them if need be. They are pretty strong so maybe do it again a week later. Dont do too many at a time. vinegar will drop your PH quickly.

They may not hurt it at all. I'd leave them. I've seen lots of Zoanthids growing side by side with other coral.
Then when there is a larger piece, sometimes you can grab it, using a little bit of fingernail for better grip and rip it off clean.
