Hey i just set up a 45 gallon hexagon, with a self built three chamber sump w/ refugium and plumbing, also with a CPR overflow.

my tank is  full of bubbles and in my sump's refugium where the 1 1/4 pvc overflow pipe comes in it is all frothy and bubbly, it also is in the filter chamber, the only chamber without  them is the return pumps. and the return pump is shooting them into my display.
 
 
what is causing these, and how bad are they for your tank?
