... doing my usual lookthrough of the tanks and came across a white fuzzy thing the other day.  Wondering if anyone can help me identify what this is, almost looks like white hair algae.  Was wondering if it was a clutch of eggs? it's not leftover food, or anything else I can identify.  Tankmates are tomato clowns, blue damsels, scooter blenny, baby hippo tang, hermits, 1 turbo snail, bunch of margaritas, ceriths and nassarius snails.

It is about 1/4" to 3/8" of an inch, it's above an entrance of a small cave...

Anyone have a clue?
I asked the Lord for the blessing of Patience... he gave me 6 kids!

I would say it;s a sponge. You'll find lots of different sponges will start to pop up in a maturing reef.
