out of curiosity, will that metal hose clamp on the return pump in the sump cause problems in the future as it corrodes and rusts?

I don't think it'll cause any problems. I wouldn't be running it without them though. When it rusts I'll just put another one on.

they actually sell click style plastic hose clamps that you can put on instead of the metal ones.
Was that in there yesterday? Casper--WY windier than ?
