I just noticed these growing on a few rocks and thought I would see if anyone knows what they are? They are kind of cool looking and pretty bright

Are they hard or soft?
My first thought would be a mushroom of some type.

It's probably one of these choices: Tunicate Fungus Algae
I think we can figure it out but can you take a pic under lighting that is not totally blue? Maybe use use the camera's flash or with room lights on?

Mark it is kind of hard to get a good picture of it, sorry. The picture looks really blue on the rocks but the actual red things are really that bright in person. They are soft and are growing in a few places throughout the whole tank.

I think they are going to be a problem! We better move them out of your tank and into mine :)

What?! You pooped in the refrigerator, and ate the entire wheel of cheese?! I'm not even mad.... That's actually amazing!

How big are they? They really are cool looking. Let me know when there's too much and you want to frag them.

If it is soft its, a form of macro algea (unless they are spherical) Its totally harmless form and benifical... The slips my mind at the moment but I'll look it up a lil later and repost unless someone beats me to it (Mark)
