I have been wanting a Scolymia for some time now, just couldn't justify the price.... that is until my wife eyed this one in the store and said YES!

Bleeding Apple Scylomia
And because she got to pick something out, I thought it only fair that I did also...

A Trio of Barletts Anthias. Hard to get all three in the shot!

Yellow Tang- Hoping he wipes out all the purple grape looking algae.

Golden Midas Blenny

Scolys WILL be going in my new 93 Cube

Dave -

Sounds like you have Valonia (looks like little grapes?)

Not too many things will eat that.

Emerald Crab, maybe?

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Our Blenny is already a favorite. He acts is if he's part of the Anthias pack. When he's not hanging in his retreat, he's swimming with them.

Unfortunately, I have that also. Pain to get rid of and also courtesy of the AquariumOuch. I do have 1 Emerald Crab and looking for 4-5 more. Anyone?
This algae is not completely round, maybe oval shaped. Kind of spongy. I am sure it is not bad, but I do not like it growing in my display tank. What about your thoughts Mark?

I can see it at the bottom of the last pic. That's a rare algae that after a while dies off or disappears in most tanks. Unless the Tang is too well fed it will probably eat it. I believe it is Botrycladia pseudodichotoma. It's not necessarily a bad thing.

Yeah I saw these at the Aquarium to and the price is out there. They told me they hardly ever reproduce in captivity so thats why there so much.
