Hi!
My two sons abandoned me for college and left me with a 120 gallon salt water tank.
I've been taking care of it for 6 months and so far have only killed the blue starfish.
Last time they left me with the tank while they were in Thailand, they asked me to change the water. They didn't tell me I couldn't change half the water in one setting. They also didnt' tell me where the salt was.
It was Saturday night and no one was open. I thought something was better than nothing so I put in some organic salt that I had.
I got to watch the fish die one by one for the next three days and most of the coral.
Big learning curve. May that tank rest in peace.
I'm a little smarter than that now.
Ive been going to Aquatica for RO water and salt water for the last 6 months but they are out of business.
Where can I go beside SLC for RO water?
I also have an RO machine but I don't know how to hook it up.
I have a bad back so it would be nice to not have to haul 35 gallons of water every other week.
