it's moved to sit right on top of my Hawaiian feather duster. should I move it? or will it be ok?Will it eat my duster even?

If it is only sitting on the 'tube' of the Feather Duster you should be OK
 
If it is near, or on, the 'mouth' of the duster (where the 'feathers' come out) then you should move the duster.

The Feather Duster Worm is completely protected in it's tube. It can come out at night to eat when the RBTA is shrunken.
In case the RBTA stays too long, the worm can cut an opening in it's tube and build a new tube in another direction. It can even back out the bottom, crawl through the sand and build a whole new tube in a completely new spot. Big smile

Mine did that a couple times I always thought it had died until it popped up across the tank.

I think mine actually died because I never saw it again, maybe the arrow crab got him.
