Great pics!  I wouldn't say those are bad.  I took several hundred pictures when my wife and I snorkeled in Cancun.  None are as good as yours!

thanks, it just seems like we left all the color down there.. but it was a blast. especially now that i am more aware of what i am actually looking at.

Thanks for sharing! I especially love the gorgonia pic and the two angels pic. But you're right, as you go down in depth you lose colors (which is why fish are brightly colored...it's the perfect camouflage). Eventually you just end up with blue or black.
On my first deep-water dive with my husband, I remember looking around for him and started to panic because I couldn't find him. I finally realized he was right beside me the whole time, but that his bright red dive shirt was poo-brown.

I really wish I could dive.  These pictures make me really jealous.  I have never been able to equalize though, so I am a snorkel man (which does not compare). 

I have tried scuba, but as I said before, I cant make it work. :(
