I came home today and noticed my sail fin had a few white spots like maybe 4 on his swim fins, hes acting normal. After looking more closely my RBTA has some spot on him as well ,but hes open and the fingers with spots are extended and fat as usual.I have been feeding more than normal , could this be the cause or should i be alarmed at this point ?None of my other 7 fish have any and are acting normal as can be /

Prob a small case of ick or a related paracite. Pics would def help ID. I am sure the spots on the rbta are unrelated. Feeding with garlic occasionaly and getting a UV helps alot to prevent this.

I wouldn't say its a cause for alarm. The biggest thing with paracites such as ick is to make sure the fish keeps eating. As long as he is eating and happy it will probably go away. Garlic oil will help to keep him wanting to eat. So i would pick some up most LFS sell garlic products or you can simply buy garlic oil at a natural foods store.
