I haven't had an aquarium since I was a kid.  It will probably be 6 months to a year before I can do anything but I figure that gives me time to get a grasp on the basics.
I'm looking to do something small, between 30 and 60 gallons, but that is still up in the air.
I will lurk more than anything.  But am looking forward to checking everything out.

Best advice i can give you is to research, research, research! Decide how big of a tank you want (more water volume is much easier to keep stable than smaller volume). Then decide what you want to do with it (mixed reef, softies, FOWLR). Then figure out what is that one fish you really really want so you can pick compatible friends to go with it!
