Thanks all! My New Years resolution is to figure out how to take top-down shots because IMO corals look best from the top.

Bumping up my tank thread with a little eye candy...

Thank you Bryce. I shoot with a Nikon D80 with the 18-135mm lens. Some pictures in this thread are actually taken with my iPhone 5.

Lol thanks Johnny!

Haven't posted a pic in a while. In the last couple weeks I've become infatuated with scolymias. Here are my two new babies under my VHO actinics. They're on the sand bed for now but I might attach them to the rocks to showcase them better. I'm blaming "BrentD" for hooking me on scolys haha.

That master scoly in your avatar is pretty amazing. I just ordered a bleeding apple and a warpaint myself. Seeing these two makes me excited to get them

Thank you Bryce. Under normal lighting the black ring is actually dark purple!

PKapp, where did you order yours from if you don't mind me asking. I have a bleeding apple scoly coming in the mail today and am looking for a cool warpaint.

I got the master scoly from exotic reefs in Orem, the Bleeding apple from someone who was selling it on Reef2reef, and the reverse bleeding apple scoly came from a local trade from someone who got it from milehighaquatics.com.
