Matt, What are you dosing and what do you keep your params at for the tank? I notice the 10 gallon is gone and there is a huge watering trough in the room now. What other changes have you made?

I'm dosing Brs 3 part. I'm keeping my alk at 9 cal 420 and my mag 1350 dosed through my bubble magus dosing pump. Yeah I have a big Rubbermaid instead of the 10 gallon. I also have a 20 gallon plumbed in that's my sea horse/frag tank =)

So are you still running LED's and T5's or have you changed your lighting out too? I think you need a serious build thread update. lol

I really like them I've been running them around a year and never had any problems. I dosed vinegar before that and had some problems with bacteria blooms, and some problems when the nutrients got to low and I didn't cut back the dose.

I'm just using the Brs brand, I've heard good things about ecobak though. I would start out using less than they would recommend starting out with though.

Im thinking on starting with a 1/3 of the recommend amount and go from there. Are you running the recommended amount for your water volume?

I was for the 29 gallon but I haven't added anymore since I plumbed my 20 long in. I worked my way up a 1/4 cup every week. But the amount recommended was only like a cup or something close I can't remember the exact amount. I also don't have the output of the reactor by the skimmer intake it goes into the sump has to go up to the tank and down the drain before it gets to my skimmer. Haven't had any negative effects. My corals have a chance to feed on the bacteria before it gets skimmed out.
