From the pic it looks like it could be a dubcan too. I've seen them with smaller polyps in clumps like that and also the branching variety with huge polyps, that's what I have.

Tileman is right, this coral will attack neighboring corals if they are too close. It can send out digestive tissue and it will dissolve the neighbor until nothing but the skeleton remains. It's actually a very cool defense.
