Is this a typical hitchhiker mantis shrimp?  Finally caught him after stalking him for weeks to figure out where his hideout was.  He is about 1.5 inches.

Oh I'm so jealous! I couldn't ever catch the Mantua hitchhiker I had, and I had to treat the tank with interceptor (which killed him.) Very cool. Sorry I don't know my mantis ID very well.

Hmmm.... where in SLC are you?  I might want him for my sump... They are kinda cool- if you have one of the colored ones... I will take it just for fun.
