I read an article the other day that claims that the thicker the chalice, the more flow it likes, so don't assume that all chalices should be put in a low flow environment (such as at the bottom of the tank).  Has anyone tried this with your thicker chalices?

I have a couple chalices being blasted by flow, and some are really thin. Just depend on the chalice.
Indefinite hiatus from sw aquariums.

Once I have my glorious return I'll set back up the following.
50 Gallon rimless cube.
180 Gallons mixed reef paradise
