I have some favias, favites and platygyra corals that i'd like to put close together. Will they sting each other? I know they are from the same basic family but I wanted to hear some first hand experience.

I have seen them kept closely, and have kept them closely together myself. In my experience it can bother them if they end up in full contact, but they usually just stop growing when they start meeting each other. Nothing like how a torch coral would mess up an sps colony.
