Hectors Goby Dying??!?

Just noticed my hectors gobie laying on the sand bed breathing rapidly. Hes alive but wont swim, wont move at all. ANything I can do???

That sucks!  Primarily it sounds like he isn't getting enough oxygen.  You might be able to stabilize him with a methylene blue bath.  Methylene blue helps with O2 uptake, so it might help him breathe while you figure out what is really going on.  Any other fish or invertebrates having issues?  How well has the Hector's been eating?  These guys are really prone to starvation.

Yeah, I have lots of oxygen going through my tank, but I think he starved. He wont eat but I have lost of algea in the backish section of my tank on sand and rocks but he always is sifting through it all. I feel soo bad! I tried everything to feed him and he just stuck with the sand so i fed a little extra incase some would fall on my sand for him, which wouldnt. But thanks Saltysleeves for the imput
