what do you do with 150 year old poderosa pine barn wood?
Make a killer tank stand. Hood is going to be done soon

Wow what a great way to keep the old looking new ! Im digging the tank too. Post more pics with equipment specs also ! I do love the rimless......... but just my o2 dont top it with a hood!!!!!

I love the clean look on top without a hood. The only problem is the light blinds you. The hood I was thinking of building would suspend from a soffit above the tank, so there will not be anything touching the tank.
The tank was built by aquarium creations last spring.

It looks awesome! And yeah, a hood would be cool, but I think no hood would be cooler! But I do see Cecil was saying about how the light blinds a bit, but either way it looks good, and if you do end up putting a hood on show some pictures of that old pederosa pine wood
