That sump looks really good makes me think I need an upgrade and i have one of Elite Aquatics's sumps.  I am sure you are going to love it. Just saying if you want to trade I will find a way to make that work.

Wow! Is that the sumpgasim 3000? I love it! Nice work!

And good call on the jager heaters too. Josh from The Aquarium told me to give them a try and they have been very consistent and accurate for me.

+1 Sump as Display.

Imbed some low power color shifting LEDs into the red top and dividers and then when you light it up the dividers will carry light and glow all the way down through the sump.  Then again, this may not work so well as they may act as a light pipe and not really glow from the sides... but it would look soo cool if it worked!

And Jager heaters are and have been one of the best for 20+ years.  Not even that expensive really.

it has a tube built into it already that runs the full lenght with leds that change like 9 or so colors. jager heaters are by far my favorite

Me and the neighbor got sheetrock, trim, doors done and finished up some of the stand debating on leaving it open or closed. I have a 110g mixing reservoir going under it. any suggestions?

I vote paint it up and leave it open. Makes it much easier to deal with and plumbing or changes you decide to make later.
