I can attest to that . Eric just stopped by and destroyed all of my majano's in about 20 minutes. And he had fun doing it.
No more majano's.Thumbs Up

As a lot of you know me and Justun share a tank.  We are both super excited to get this laser, they're awesome.  It fried stuff so fast ! You all should go check his out! Totally worth the price Its the best deal for the wattage.

Do you have a link to the exact 3W unit you purchased?

I was more skeptical of the home built side of it . I thought you were going to build a one out of a old drive diode. lol  I have seen the Co2 lasers that burn through Thick steel so i know how powerful they can be. let alone that they're now working on using them for nuclear fussion

Gotcha. I've put in an order through a couple vendors. I will do testing on the true wattage and get back to everyone on which ones work the best, and give you the best bang for your buck.

I think that we should throw a small event with donated corals to fund a lot of lasers . There is promise in the suckers !

Well I'm doing a huge zoanthid sale. I'm using the profit ( if there is any ) to get at least a couple lasers circulating.

To keep WMAS out of legal affairs, I have decided to just build a few personal lasers, which anyone will be able to use and borrow. Those who donated get first dibs ( there are two of ya )

Chuckfu, that's a 1w laser, so it would work yes. 2 or 3w is preferred, and will let you kill of just about anything ( even unwanted zoas, sps, green star polyp etc )

Check out survivallasers.com they've got a nice selection!

Just thought I'd share this...

The other day my dad brought his 1.2W laser home from work and we tried frying some aiptasia. It takes quite a while with 1W to fully kill the aiptasia and be sure they won't come back. I'd like to try out a 3W and see how it compares.
