Looks like a Stylophora. You can soak it in bleach water to kill off anything remaining. You can also soak it in vinegar water to release any remaining junk.

I'd use it for an ornament outside the tank. It's quite cool as an end table decoration,

I agree with Shane.

Now, there's nothing 'wrong' with putting the coral skeleton in the tank (we used to do that all the time back before we new about 'live rock') - but that pretty white skeleton will get covered in algae and detritus before too long inside the tank...

I would toss it in my tank if i had it . sure ,  it'd be brown and ugly for a  month or two but Could you imagine how cool that thing would be coated in coralline ?!?!

I think it would be cool to attach frags of simmalar type to it. make it look like a huge colony.

One problem putting this in your tank is keeping it free of poo in the middle. It'll become a nutrient heaven....

Reminds me of the Stylophora colonies I'd see while diving in Hawai'i. I saw some colonies larger than the cars we drive off the coast of Kauai, a nice beautiful pink color as well. The damsels sure loved the stuff.
