building a new hood for a biocube 29

So I'd like to make something that I could hang over the top of my biocube 29. i already have the lights so i don't want something that comes with lights already. i'm running ecoxotic panorama pro's inside my hood right now but i want to take the whole hood off and give it the rimless look. does anyone have any ideas on what would work best for this? i have some ideas but i'd like more. any input would be appreciated.

Electrical conduit might be sturdy enough. Check out the other thread on this first page about hanging lights, someone posted pics and they look like a really solid idea.
