Can anybody help ID this Macro Algae and more importantly is there any friendly tank inhabitants that would be interested in making a salad out of it? I have a couple of pieces of rock that are growing it really well. :)

Thanks everyone!

Cool enough that I would love to give some to anyone that wants some! :) Is there anything that like to eat it? Emerald cab, peppermint shrimp, some kind of snail or crab? I don't mind a bit of it but it may have crossed the line. lol

It is calcareous and I don't know of anything that eats it. It has never stuck around long in my tanks.

I was going to say the same thing as Mike. Rather than treat it as a pest, which it isn't, why not enjoy it during its short existence in your tank.Smile
There are thousands of cool organisms that pop up in our tanks. Just a minute number of them are pests and we know how to control them.
Enjoy the diversity.
