Return pump? What size?
Localized powerheads in a display can keep it going for weeks. A Refugium doesn't need any flow, just keep the lights going as usual.
I have powerheads you can borrow, but I'm not close.
Calling now.

If I heard correctly, a Yellow Tang laying on it's side is serious. I can see why the feeling of urgency. Below is a pic of what I was trying to describe over the phone.

First open the hood. The tank is suffocating. Fish are the first to feel the effects. Coral are slow to respond but are also feeling the effects.
Second, place the two Koralia down low, one on each side, shooting water up to the surface so it gives this effect.

Sounds like finding a way to give the water surface permanent access to fresh air will make a huge difference. Can the back of the hood be removed? Some might suggest installing a fan to push in fresh air, but I look first at doing things that don't require electricity. To make the tank dependent on electricity will make it suffer during a power outage.

Feel free to post a pic of your tank. I and others here may be able to come up with other helpful hints.

Aloha,
Mark Hug

Well update... Yellow tang did not make it I've done the best I could to take marks advise and rearranged my flow a little and in that process I broke a few corals but I think things are set up ok now... Not perfect but ok... I will post pictures when water clears up thanks again to everyone!

do u have powerheads running. The tank should have had enought oxygen with just a single powerhead. if so that is weird the tang died.
