1. Raw food. 2. I don't, the Fromia species are one of the better choices for reef safe sea stars. 3. No it won't.

1. Raw food would be best 2. Marbled Sea Star is a good choice 3. The Fireshrimp (which is a type of cleaner shrimp) won't eat the sea star.

Agree. Reef safe Sea Stars die too young in our tanks. Did you see this recent thread? http://utahreefs.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=69744

I rarely feed my anemone. Every once in a while I will will slip it a raw silverside or give it a blast of brine, mysis, etc.
I'm not too proud to post my own mistakes to help others learn. Last Friday I purchased a blue Linkia star because it was so cool looking. I read that it would attach to the rocks and glass and would hold its legs out in the current to catch food. I thought I would be ok to add this because I supplement my tank every 2 weeks with 2 bags of rotifers and some other micro bug to help feed everything.
Anyways long story short, it died in 3 days. So I started reading more to try and figure out what went wrong. It turns out their diets are too hard to pinpoint and their life expectancy is not great in small setups. I'm done with sea stars. I hate killing stuff. And I've officially lost 3 critters in the last 4 weeks.
My cleaner shrimp just wants to check out the fish and my peppermint shrimp just hides. I doubt either are too aggressive.
These are my experiences, hope it helps.

Buy raw shrimp, that way you can cook them however you like. Then plate up the shrimp for yourself and feed the anemone whatever you feed your fish.
As for Starfish, my experience is much the same as LakeCityReefs. Even if they last longer than 3 months I've rarely seen one live past a year because they tend to starve.
Fire Shrimp are awesome! Buy them raw and don't cook them. They look way better in the tank than on the plate. Seriously though, they are one of my favorite tank inhabitants. I'd have one myself if I didn't have a Hawkfish.
