test kits always go bad. Test some fresh mixed salt water and see if it matches what Red Sea says it should be. Chances are if the kit is more than 1 year old that it is bad.

How big of a tank?  I'd consider dosing Mg (epsom salt) or a water change to fix it.  Getting a second test result isn't a bad idea first.

Also, be careful with how quickly you bring it back up if it is low. It's not super critical that you get it back up quickly. Growth might slow a little while the level is low but you shouldn't really see any other issues because of it. So take your time and prevent shocking the system by bringing it up quickly.

How has the Coralline Algae been growing.  Slow Coralline growth is an indicator of possible low Mg. Hard coral okay? Snails doing okay? If there has been growth, I guarantee the test results are wrong because that is an extremely low level of Mg.  I'd be very surprised that Mg could get that low and still support a functioning ecosystem. Feel free to post a pic of the tank. If there are tank issues, we could help resolve them with you.
