Seriously, I want to buy some. Badly.
I would be down for a few as well! Please post when they're ready for sale!
Nice job. I still remember when Jeff Hite hatched and raised these years ago. It was one of my favorite things to watch! I had a mated pair for years. I never tried to raise the fry, but the adults were "regular" producers.
Congrats! Again.

It was really cool to see. The entire night after seeing them at your shop my wife said "I want to raise cardinals".

" That is awesome. Your ability to breed fish is impressive."Thanks Mark
"It was really cool to see. The entire night after seeing them at your shop my wife said "I want to raise cardinals"." Glad you enjoyed! I remember leaving your house saying to myself I want an Eel Garden.
"Any updates on when these will be available for sale?" Pete, you should have stopped, said hi, and seen them Saturday when you was down this way. They are still smallish but have been eating pellets for about a week now. I'm just starting them on frozen now. Maybe another 3 or 4 weeks they will be big enough?

Sustainable said they tried breeding Garden Eels and it wasn't cost effective to sell (not high in demand) but shows it is possible. He offered to share his information (I am the dummy who never emailed him back, I really need to do that). New challenge for you! Garden Eels for ALL! Lets do it!

Another 35ish a couple of days ago, one male left holding with only a day or two to go. The next round first male is all ready holding.
