I have a 24 gallon nano cube that I would possibly like to do as a seahorse tank.  Those with experience please give your experience and opinion.

Here's what I would like.
Pair of seahorses
Lots of decorative algae for looks, control nitrates and phosphates, and use to feed fish in my other tank.
Possibly pom pom crab
hermit crabs to help control hair algae
snails for a cleanup crew
any other creatures that will get along.

My concern.  I've heard seahorses are sensitive to illness from other fish and bacteria.  Will having the other critters compromise the seahorses, also will other critters thrive in lower temperatures.  From reading it looks like it's best to keep temps under 75.

Any input, opinions, advice, ideas, and 24 gallon nano tank mods will be much appreciated.

Also if you have seahorses let me know how long you have had them.  With any new creatures please tell me the good and bad of keeping them to help make my decision.
