Please share your wisdom to prevent my emergency.
I'm about to move an established tank, since a 90g weighs over 1200lbs I'm not going to try to do it full.
What do I need to do to keep the coral and everything (clam) alive?

I will not move it full of water.
I will rinse the sand before putting it back in
travel time by car is less than 30 min.

thanks in advance

Your 90 is up and running already? Or you're wanting to transfer your other tank to the 90?

-Put all fish in buckets filled with tank water.

-Put all the corals/LR into a Rubbermaid tote (brute totes are super strong) add enough water to just cover them but still be able to lift the tote....

-All the sand into buckets/totes... no need to cover with water as you will need to rinse this.... and rinse, and rinse, and then repeat.... seriously lots of rinsing until the rinse water is crystal clear. Keep a few cups of unrinsed sand to reseed(unless you have another tank you can steal some from)

-Break down the stand/tank/equipment

-Move everything.... a 30min move wont req anything special to keep everything alive, just don't park the car with the windows up in direct sunlight for extended periods or put buckets directly in front of your vents with AC on full blast.

-Bring all the buckets/totes in first, then move tank/stand/equip. Get your tank/stand level before placing anything inside.

-Set  everything up.

Even if you keep as much water as possible you will want to have some extra brewed up ready to go, somehow even taking as much water as was in the tank wont be enough to fill it back up.
