Is it normal for a mated pair of clown fish to become aggressive towards one another?  I have had this pair of Ocellaris Clowns for 4 years. Laying eggs every 2 weeks.  Today the female is beating the crap out of the male. Not sure he will survive.   They stopped hosting their anemone a few weeks ago.

I had a female beat up a male, the male then got sick because he was stressed, then it spread to the female.

Somewhat instant karma.

I've never heard of a 4 year mated pair going crazy though.
