I have two sets of Stunners and I want to control them with my Apex (two channels, 16 watts on each channel). Here is what I would like to do.
Use the 60 watts and 24volts power supply I already have.
Use two of these drivers between the power supply and stunners The LuxDriveâ„¢ A009-D-V-1400 BuckBlock http://www.ledsupply.com/led-drivers/buckblock-1400ma-constant-current-led-driver-with-dimming Connect the Apex to the drivers using VSP cable. Write a simple program. Is it this easy or am I missing something?
Suggestions?

What is the voltage on the 60w power supply? What is the actual link to the LuxDriver so I can see the specs on it? The cable is easy, the Apex program is easy as well. Just need a few more details on the other two things and I can give you answers.

By my calculations you are running each strip at 1250mA in your current configuration. Going to a 1400mA buckblock may burn out your stunners. To be safe I would get the A009-D-V-1000 model and under drive the LEDs slightly. That is much less risky than overdriving them.
Is the 24v power supply adjustable as all? The buckblock will use some voltage that will reduce the total voltage for the LED's. If it has an adjustment then you should be good to go. If it doesn't then you may need to get a new power supply that is adjustable upto ~27v to offset this drop by the block.
Other than that change the rest of your idea looks good.

Now that you said that maybe I should come completely clean. Did not realize I had to worry about over driving the LEDs. Was only worried about having enough amps available, But I guess da its a fixed current driver. One channel is 3 X 12.5" 6 watts each plugged into each other so I am guessing that is series, so 18 watts total. This should be 750 mA One channel is 1 X 48" 24 watt and this still should be 1000mA should I use the 1000mA on both or a 750mA and a 1000mA? looking for reliable not peak performance. Sorry for not having the accurate info from the start.

You should NOT exceed the maximum current for the string. So, use the proper amperage for each string. I would use a amp meter and measure it while the lights are on and make sure that you get it correct or you are risking all of the LEDs in that string.

Anytime. Remember that current has to be measured with your meter inline with the power source. So you will have to disconnect the cable from the power supply to the LEDs and then put the meter in the connector and then the other lead from the meter to your LEDs. Then connect a wire from the other pin on the connector to the open pin on the LEDs. Then you will get a valid reading. It's not like voltage where you can just go from 2 points and get the number. Give me a yell if you run into problems.

Ok, got the time today to get the meter out.
Power supply is fixed and reads 24.32 VDC
48" LED strip, .770 Amp 3X12" LED strips, .570 Amp
I want to use the following with the fixed power supply I already have:
3X 12", BuckPuck 03023-D-E-500
48", BuckPuck 03023-D-E-700
Thoughts?

Just looking at the data sheet for your power supply I don't see that they make a 750 mA driver.
I know I'm kind of late to the party here, and Krazie has give you some excellent advice, but have you considered the meanwell LDD driver for your 12.5" strip?

I think those use PWM to control the dimmer circuit. I want to use my Apex and I don't think PWM is compatible with the Apex. Other than that they look similar to the BuckPucks. The have the same mA models. I picked the 700 and 500 mA models so I would not be over-driving the LEDs. I thought that is what Krazie was saying.

Yes those buck blocks will work for what your are trying to do. You are also correct that the ldd drivers are pwm and do not work directly with your apex. I think you have a good solution with your last update.
