So last night found out the reason our prized clam wasn't happy was our Key Hole Angel found it tasty. We moved that clam out to our other peaceful true reef tank and realized I have moved most of my nicer coral there as well (due to a jerk wrasse that loves to flip and bury coral).

I have a semi-aggressive tank as it is. Thinking this may be a chance to add two fish I have longed to have - Porcupine Puffer and a Larger Angel (would get at a smaller size) like a regal or emperor etc. Any one have these fish with a reef? We have no shrimp and limited snails due to our triggers and most of our coral now are leathers, nems and zoas. My smallest fish are tough (margin wrasse, dottyback and a peppermint hogfish).

Looking for thoughts, experiences, suggestions? I do understand the risks of these fish.

Go for it!  I'd gladly put those fish in my reef tank.

You know I have angels. I wouldn't hesitate to add them as long as you are willing to feed them a couple times a day.

I feed heavy, not always twice a day but the fish aren't starving.

Any suggestions on Angels?  A dwarf and a larger one?  Under $150?

Any Centropyge is good IMO. But you may be hard pressed to find a larger angel under $150.
