Well it just isn't my month for lights. Now my dual 150 watt halide fixture isn't firing. I took out the bulbs and cleaned the contacts. Even wiggled the bulbs (which has fixed things in the past). No luck.
How do I go about testing my halide ballast?

Take the unit to MSM and ask them to stick 2 used bulbs in it. I know this guy that works there on Saturday 11-5. He's quite nice but writes too long of posts so don't get him talking or you'll be there all day 
Are these mogul or DE?

They are double ended. I have extra bulbs to try. They fired up yesterday, then today they just never came on.
Thanks for the offer Mark, but I'm sure the store I bought them from will take care of it if something really is wrong.

Eric- well it doesn't matter. I took out the bulbs, filed the contacts in the sockets, and bam they work. Odd that is just stopped working on both bulbs the same time.
But no worries now.
