What are the perks to a paid membership?
At the beginning of the week I bought a paid membership, but I haven't see any changes in access etc. I reached out to a few different people just to inquire when I would see the changes but haven't heard back yet.
I am really excited about having become a full fledged member, but want to ensure I get my money's worth if you know what I mean. Any ideas on who it reach out to or if in my animated haste I might have missed something that would be very useful.
Thanks, Justin

Here are just a few:
50% off at frag fests Invited to the paid member BBQ Reduced prices on select club events Access to the paid member area on the forums.
It will take a little bit to get the access changed on the forum. Please be patient with us. You can pick up your member key chain at any club meeting.

Make sure to post, or send in your real name. Often times people buy memberships but we don't know who they are online. Send the info to Summertop... he'll quickly take care of it.

If you paid for a membership, but still show as guest...
Send me a PM with your real name (name used to buy membership with).

Welcome to the WMAS Justin and Kevin.
Sure the immediate cash value benefits of WMAS Membership are nice, but there is much more.
Looking at the bigger picture, the reefkeeping information freely offered and freely received by both guests and members is invaluable, but it's more than that.
The local buy/sell/trade section of this forum by itself easily saves guests and members more money than the cost of membership, but I believe that many good people pay for membership because they find that there is greater value in giving than in receiving.
My 2 cents worth.
Aloha, Mark
