Does anybody know if it is safe to use those craft disk magnets inside the tank. I want to glue a big plug of palys to the back wall and the superglue alone wont hold. Will these leech anything harmful into the water

Those magnets are made with bits of metal embedded in platicine. I wouldn't use them unless they are completely encased in epoxy. Rate earth magnets are much stronger but also need to be kept from contract directly with the water.

I have frag plugs with magnets in them and personally don't use them. I actually don't know how I got them or where, but I noticed the bag has attached itself to a piece of metal.

See the GSP on the back glass of this tank. That was done in about 15 seconds with gel superglue.

Don't glue the heavy plug. Remove the coral from the plug and just glue the coral to the glass. Plugs are ugly. Coral should always be removed from the plug and then glued to rock.

Aloha,
